JedAIFlow · small-business spreadsheet support

Turn messy exports into a reviewable next step.

Discuss a small comparison of two exports, with agreed matching rules, preserved source values, and a clear list of exceptions for human review.

Month-end comparison: $75/month founding rate (later $100/month). Rules agreed in writing before the first run. No financial files needed for your initial inquiry.

Three proposed service categories

Start with the mess you can name.

Preview · Three proposed service directions for small-business operations. Scope, price, cadence, and delivery details stay open until the workflow and data handling are understood.

01 · Proposed category

Spreadsheet cleanup

Review a workbook or export for inconsistent labels, duplicate rows, blank-versus-zero confusion, and structure that makes the next decision harder.

Scope first

Possible output: a documented cleanup pass or change list. No silent value changes.

02 · Selected direction

Two-export reconciliation

Compare two authorized invoice/payment or sales/payment exports with agreed keys and mappings. Preserve raw values, source rows, and exceptions for human review.

Small pilot · scope reviewed first

Possible output: a read-only exception report. Unmatched does not mean unpaid.

03 · Proposed format

Recurring exception review

Repeat an agreed comparison when new exports arrive, keeping reason codes and open questions consistent across review cycles.

Month-end comparison

One month-end comparison per month, up to 100 rows per export. Send files by the 5th; results within 3 business days after payment and acceptance of both files. Billed monthly in advance. Cancel with 15 days' notice.

A bounded workflow

Map → compare → review → hand off.

01

Map

Agree the period, currency, keys, amount meaning, date contract, and allocation rules before comparing.

02

Compare

Run deterministic checks against two client-provided exports. Keep every source value and row reference.

03

Review

Hold duplicate, ambiguous, blank, invalid, timing-sensitive, and substantive-conflict rows for a human decision.

04

Hand off

Return the exception report and notes. No automatic correction, writeback, or source winner is selected.

Synthetic demo · fixed fictional data

Show the difference. Keep the judgment human.

This compact example shows the shape of a review queue, not a financial result. The source values and IDs are fictional.

Illustrative contract: one currency, one period, approved invoice IDs, strict decimal amounts, and ISO dates only. Timing, allocation, fees, refunds, FX, and blanks stay visible as review questions.

Review queue · 01 heldSource values preserved
SourceRecord and source rowAmount
Invoice exportINV-0311 · invoice_export.csv:L18$850.00
Payment exportINV-0311 · payments.csv:L91$800.00

Match rule: exact invoice ID within one agreed currency and period. Why held: amounts differ. A partial allocation, fee, refund, or timing issue may explain it; no automatic source winner is chosen. Next review step: a human checks the supporting rule or allocation.

Scope before files

A rule sheet before an upload button.

This preview accepts no financial files. A real workflow needs an approved data-handling process before any transfer is considered.

Client provides

  • Two authorized Excel or CSV exports for one agreed period.
  • One currency, or an explicit rule for currencies that should be held.
  • Approved invoice IDs, payment IDs, and allocation fields.
  • A field dictionary for dates, amounts, fees, refunds, and blanks.
  • A named human reviewer who can resolve exceptions.

Proposed review output

  • Exception report with row status, reason code, and next review action.
  • Raw values from each source and source-row references.
  • Control view of matched, missing, duplicate, ambiguous, and held rows.
  • Timing, allocation, fee, refund, and FX caveats made visible.
  • A handoff for a human decision, with no automatic correction.

About the practice

A careful second set of eyes for operational data.

John · JedAIFlow

John brings experience in finance, reporting, and data consistency. This service focuses on making spreadsheets easier to inspect, comparing exports without silently rewriting source values, and documenting what needs a human decision.

Portrait of John
Source-aware

Keep the original values, row references, and definitions visible for the person reviewing them.

Rule-led

Agree keys, dates, amounts, blanks, and exceptions before treating a row as comparable.

Human review

Use deterministic checks to surface questions, not to make accounting, compliance, or payment decisions.

Start by email

Tell me what needs to line up.

Describe the spreadsheet problem in a few lines. We can discuss the whole pilot in writing, with no call required.

Opens your email app with a short template. If it does not open, copy john@jedaiflow.com into your email service and use the checklist beside it.

A small comparison pilot

Each month we compare two exports of up to 100 rows each and return a workbook of differences and exceptions.

The proposed result is a workbook of differences and exceptions with source values preserved. File requirements, data handling, price and timing are agreed before work begins.

Include in your first email

  • What you want to compare or clean up.
  • File types and approximate row counts.
  • Column names, a possible matching ID, currency and period.
  • What you need to understand and any timing to discuss.

A description is enough to start. Please do not attach financial files, passwords or personal records to your first inquiry. Your files are deleted 30 days after delivery.

FAQ

Questions a careful buyer should ask.

Does an unmatched invoice mean the customer did not pay?

No. It means the two exports did not produce an approved match under the agreed rules. Timing, allocation, reference quality, refunds, fees, and source coverage can all matter, so the row stays with a human reviewer.

What happens with partial or lump-sum payments?

They are held unless the client has supplied an explicit allocation rule. Unallocated amounts, fees, refunds, and timing differences are recorded as review questions rather than treated as a clean match.

Will the service choose which system is right?

No. It preserves both raw values and their source references. Duplicate or ambiguous keys are quarantined, and no automatic source winner or correction is selected.

Can I upload a financial file on this page?

No. This preview intentionally has no upload or payment form. A real data-handling workflow must be agreed before any files are transferred.
